2020 අධ්‍යයන පොදු සහතික පත්‍ර ( සාමාන්‍යය පෙළ ) විභාගය 2021 ජනවාරි මස 18 වන දා සිට ජනවාරි මස 27 වන දා දක්වා කාලය තුළ පැවැත්වීමට කටයුතු යොදා ඇතැයි අධ්‍යාපන අමාත්‍යාංශය පවසයි. එසේම 2020 වර්ෂයේ පැවැත්වීමට නියමිත 5 ශ්‍රේණිය ශිෂ්‍යත්ව විභාගය 2020 ඔක්තෝබර් 11 වන ඉරිදා දින පැවැත්වෙන බවද අධ්‍යාපන අමාත්‍යාංශය වැඩිදුරටත් පවසයි. තවද 2020 වර්ෂයේ පැවැත්වීමට නියමිත අධ්‍යයන පොදු සහතික පත්‍ර උසස් පෙළ විභාගය 2020 ඔක්තොබර් මස 12 වනදා සිට 2020 නොවැම්බර් 06 වෙනිදා දක්වා පැවැත්වීමට නියමිතව තිබේ.
ඒ අනුව 2020 ඔක්තෝබර් මස 10 වෙනි දින සිට 2020 නොවැම්බර් මස 08 වන දින දක්වා පාසල් නිවාඩුව ලබාදීමට කටයුතු කරණ බව අධ්‍යාපන අමාත්‍යාංශය පවසා සිටී.
තෙවැනි පාසල් වාරය නොවැම්බර් මස 09 වනදා ආරම්භ වී දෙසැම්බර් 23 වනදා දක්වා පැවැත්වීමට නියමිතව තිබේ.2021 වසරේ නව පාසල් වාරය ජනවාරි 4 වන දායින් ආරම්භ කිරීමට යොදා ඇති බව පැවසෙන අතර 2020 අධ්‍යයන පොදු සහතික පත්‍ර ( සාමාන්‍යය පෙළ ) විභාගය පැවැත්වෙන ජනවාරි මස 18 වන දා සිට ජනවාරි මස 28 වන දා දක්වා සීමාව තුළ දිවයිනේ සියළුම පාසල් සඳහා විශේෂ නිවාඩුවක් ලැබීමට නියමිතව තිබේ. එසේ වුවද 2020 අධ්‍යයන පොදු සහතික පත්‍ර ( සාමාන්‍යය පෙළ ) විභාගයට මුහුණ දෙන සිසුන් සඳහා පමණක් 2021 ජනවාරි 01 දා සිට 2021 ජනවාරි 17 දක්වා අධ්‍යයන නිවාඩු කාලයක් හිමිවේ.
