බුස්ස රත්න උදාගමදි පුද්ගලයින් දෙදෙනෙකු පොලිසිය විසින් පැහැරගෙන ගොස් මරා දැමිමට විරෝධය දක්වා රත්ගම හන්දියේදි අද (23) රත්ගම ප්‍රදේශයේ පදිංචිකරුවන් පිරිසක් විරෝධතාවයක් ආරම්භ කර තිබෙනවා. මේවන විට විරෝධතාකරුවන් විසින් ගාල්ල කොළඹ ප්‍රධාන මාර්ගය සහ මුහුදුබඩ දුම්රිය මාර්ගය අවහිර කරමින් විරෝධතාවයේ නිරතව සිටින බවයි අප නෙත් නිවුස් වාර්තාකරු සඳහන් කලේ.
උද්ඝෝෂණය හේතුවෙන් ගාල්ල කොළඹ ප්‍රධාන මාර්ගයේ වාහන ගමනාගමනය පැය කිහිපයකට නතරවී තිබීම හේතුවෙන් දැඩි වාහන තදබදයක් ද ඇතිවී තිබේ. ඊට අමතරව මුහුදුබඩ මාර්ගයේ දුම්රිය ධාවනයට ද මේ හේතුවෙන් බාධා එල්ල වි තිබේ.
උද්ඝෝෂණයට අතුරුදහන්වූ පුද්ගලයින් දෙදෙනාගේ ඥාතීන් ඇතුළු ගම්වැසියන් 300ක පමණ පිරිසක් සහභාගී වී සිටි අතර එකම පොලිසි නිලධාරියෙකු හෝ දක්නට නොලැබුණු බවයි අප වාර්තාකරු සඳහන් කලේ. මෙම ස්ථානයට විශේෂ කාර්යබලකායේ සෙබලුන් පිරිසක් පැමිණි අතර එහිදි ඔවුන්ට විරෝධතාකරුවන්ගේ දැඩි විරෝධය එල්ලවිය. පසුව විශේෂ කාර්යබලකායේ නිලධාරින්ඉන් ඉවත්ව විරෝධතාවය පැවැත්වෙන ස්ථානයේ සිටි මිටර් 500ක් පමණ දුරින් රැක්වල්ලා සිටියි.
උද්ඝෝෂණය පැවැත්වෙමින් තිබු ස්ථානයෙන් යාමට පැමිණි ගුවන් හමුදාවේ පිරිසකට විරෝධතාකරුවන් එල්ල කළ ප්‍රහාරයකින් තිදෙනෙකු තුවාල ලබා ඇති බවද වාර්තා වේ.
උද්ඝෝෂණය පැවැත්වෙන අතරතුර අතුරුදන්වූවායැයි කියන මංජුගේ පියාට දුරකථන ඇමතුමක් ලැබිණි. ඉන් කියවුණේ තාත්තාට කථා කරන්නේ මංජු බවයි. ඒ අවස්ථාවේ තාත්තා කියා සිටියේ ඒ කථා කරන කටහඬ මංජුගේ නොවන බැවින් මංජුගේ උපන් දිනය හා උපන් ස්ථානය කියන ලෙසයි. එයට පිළිතුරු නොදුන් දුරකථනයෙන් කථාකළ පුද්ගලයා කියා සිටියේ තමන් මංජු බවත් තමන් කරදරයක් නැතිව හොඳින් සිටින බවත්ය.
මංජුගේ මව සහ සහෝදරිය ලෙස පෙනී සිටිමින් වෙනත් කාන්තාවන් දෙදෙනකු ඇමතුම ගත් එම පුද්ගලයා සමග කථා කළද ඹහුට ඒ කථා කරන්නේ තම මව හා සහෝදරිය නොවන බව තේරුම්ගත නොහැකි විය. මේ අවස්ථාවේදී පවුලේ ඥාතීන් කියා සිටියේ තම උද්ඝෝෂණය නැවැත්වීම සඳහා පොලිසිය තවත් ප්‍රෝඩාවක් කරන බවයි.
