අද 2020 අප්‍රේල් මස 21 වනදායි. අදින් හරියටම වසරකට පෙර තවුහිද් ජමාත් ඉස්ලාමීය අන්තවාදීන් විසින් ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ ස්ථාන නමයක් ඉලක්ක කරගනිමින් එල්ල කරන ලද බෝම්බ ප්රහාරයට හරියටම අදට වසරක් සම්පූර්ණ වෙනවා. මේ ප්‍රහාරයෙන් විපතට පත් ජීවිත අහිමි වූ තුවාල වූ සියලු දෙනාටම සංවේගය පළ කරන්නට අප මෙය අවස්ථාවක් කර ගන්නවා. ඔවුන් සියලුම දෙනා වෙනුවෙන් අප පහනක් දල්වමු !
මේ පහන් දල්වන්නේ පාස්කු ප්‍රහාරයෙන් විපතට පත්වූවන් සමරන්න විතරක්ම නෙවෙයි. පාස්කු ප්‍රහාරයේ මෝහාන්ධකාරය දුරු කරලන්න. පාස්කු ප්‍රහාරයෙන් වසරකට පසුත් අප සිටින්නේ අඳුරේ. මෙම ප්‍රහාරය පිටුපස සිටි දේශපාලන බලවේග, මූල්‍යමය බලවේග, විදේශීය බලවේග, හඳුනා ගැනීමට අප තවමත් අසමත් වී සිටිනවා. අද දින පහන් දැල්වීමෙන් අනතුරුව අප විසින් සිදුකළ යුත්තේ නිහඬතාවයක් රැකීමයි. නමුත් නිහඩතාවය රැකීම පසෙක තබා කටහඬ අවදි කරන්නට මම තීරණය කළා. මොකද පාස්කු ප්‍රහාරය සම්බන්ධයෙන් ජනතාව දැනුම්වත් කරලා මේ සම්බන්ධයෙන් සමාජයේ බහුතරයේ තිබෙන නිහඬතාව බිඳේ නැත්නම් පාස්කු ප්‍රහාරයෙන් විපතට පත්වූවන්ට සාධාරණයක් වෙන්නේ නෑ වගේම මෙවැනි ප්‍රහාරයන් අනාගතයේ එල්ලවීමේ අවධානම තවදුරටත් පැවතීමෙන් මිලියන විසි දෙකක් වන සමස්ත ශ්‍රී ලාංකික ජනතාවගේ ජීවිත අනතුරට පත්වීමත්, රට අස්ථාවර බවට පත්වීමත්, කාටවත්ම නතර කර ගැනීමට බැරි වෙනවා.
ඔබ දන්නවා පාස්කු ප්‍රහාරය සිදු වූ දා පටන්ම අප එහි වගකිවයුත්තන් නීතියට කොටුකර ගැනීම සඳහා දැවැන්ත සටනක් දියත් කළා. මේ සම්බන්ධයෙන් පත් කරන ලද සියලුම කමිටු කොමිෂන් සභා ඉදිරියේ අප සාක්ෂි ලබා දුන්නා. මාධ්‍ය ඉදිරියේ මෙන්ම මහ පොළොවේ මේ අපරාධකරුවන් කොටුකර ගැනීම සඳහා ජනමතයක් ගොඩනැගීම වෙනුවෙන් අපි දැවැන්ත අරගලයක් කරගෙන ගියා.
අසාද් සාලි, රිෂාඩ් බදියුදීන් වැනි අන්තවාදීන්ගේ සහාය ලබාගැනීමට යම් ජනාධිපති අපේක්ෂකයෙකු කටයුතු කරනවා නම් ඔහු මා කෙතරම් ප්‍රියකරන අපේක්ෂකයෙකු වුවත් ඔහුට අපගේ සහාය හිමි නොවන බව මුලින්ම ප්‍රකාශ කළේ අපයි. එමෙන්ම අනාගත ආණ්ඩුවක මුස්ලිම් අන්තවාදීන් සිටිත් නම් එම ආණ්ඩුවට අප සම්බන්ධ වන්නේ නැහැ කියන කොන්දේසිය මුලින්ම ඉදිරිපත් කළේ ද අපයි. වෙහෙසකර පර්යේෂණයකට පසු රිෂාද් බදියුදීන් එවකට සිටි අමාත්‍යවරයාට එරෙහිව විශ්වාසභංග යෝජනාවක් සකසා ඔහුට එරෙහිව සමාජ මතය ගොඩනැඟීමට මූලිකත්වය ගෙන මැදිහත් වී කටයුතු කළේ ද අපයි.
මේ සියල්ලෙන්ම අප යම් යම් ජයග්‍රහණ ලැබුවද වසරකට පසුවත් තවමත් අපට තෘප්තිමත් විය හැකි ස්ථානයකට ළඟාවීමට නොහැකි වී තියෙනවා. පාස්කු ප්‍රහාරයෙන් විපතට පත්වූවන්ට යුක්තිය ඉටුවීමටත්, සමස්ත ජාතියේ අනාගතය ආරක්ෂාව සුරක්ෂිත කිරීමටත්, පාස්කු ප්රහාරයට සම්බන්ධ සියලු වගකිවයුත්තන් නීතිය හමුවට පැමිණවීම අනිවාර්ය කටයුත්තක් වෙනවා. එහි යම් යම් පසුගාමී මන්දගාමී භාවයන් තිබුනත් ගෝඨාභය රාජපක්ෂ මැතිතුමා බලයට පත් වී මුස්ලිම් අන්තවාදීන්ගෙන් තෝර ආණ්ඩුවක් බිහිකිරීමෙන් පසු මෙහි දැවැන්ත ප්‍රගතියක් පසුගිය මාස කීපයේ අපට දකින්නට පුළුවන් වුණා. එහි එක් අවස්ථාවක් තමයි මෙතෙක් පැමිණිලිකරුවෙකු ලෙසින් පොලීසියට ගිය රිෂාඩ් බදියුදීන් අමාත්‍යවරයා දැන් ප්‍රශ්න කිරීම් සඳහා පොලීසියට යනවා. ඔහුගේ සහෝදරයා අත්අඩංගුවට පත්වෙනවා. තවත් විශාල පිරිසක් මේ වන විට අත්අඩංගුවට පත්වී සිටිනවා.
