රාජ්‍ය ගිණුම් කාරක සභාව 2018 වර්ෂයේදී රාජ්‍ය, පළාත් සභා සහ පළාත් පාලන ආයතන 844ක් ඇගයීමට ලක්කර ඇත. ඉන් තෝරාගත් රාජ්‍ය ආයතන 109කට සම්මාන පිරිනැමින. රන් සම්මාන 55ක්, රිදී සම්මාන 23ක් හා සම්මාන සහතික 31ක් ප්‍රදානය කරනු ලැබීය. විශිෂ්ටතා දැක්වූ ආයතන වෙත රන් සම්මාන පිරිනැමීම ජනාධිපතිතුමා අතින් සිදු විය.
රාජ්‍ය ගිණුම් කාරක සභාවේ අරමුණ රාජ්‍ය සේවකයන් නීතියෙන් බැඳ තැබීම නොවේ යැයි උත්සව සභාව අමතමින් ජනාධිපතිතුමා පැවසීය. ඉදිරියේ දී පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේ මූල්‍ය අධීක්ෂණයට ලක් වන සියලු රාජ්‍ය ආයතන ආවරණය වන පරිදි ඇගයීම සිදු විය යුතු බව ජනාධිපතිතුමා සඳහන් කළේය. ඉදිරිපත් කෙරෙන ප්‍රශ්නාවලිය ද යාවත්කාලීන විය යුතුය. පුද්ගලික අංශය සිය ආයතන මෙහෙයවීමේ දී අනුගමනය කරන ක්‍රමවේද ආදර්ශයක් ලෙස ගැනීමේ වැදගත්කම ජනාධිපතිතුමා පෙන්වා දුන්නේය.
